On Thursday November 15, 2018, at about 2050 hours, a 21 year-old male was walking in the unit block of White Clay Drive in Newark. A vehicle drove past him and stopped. Three black males exited the vehicle and one of them displayed a baseball bat. The victim was ordered to turn over property and he complied. One of the suspects slapped and punched the victim in the head before the three suspects returned to the vehicle and fled on North College Avenue.

The victim and his friend were able to locate the suspects and they confronted the suspects in an alleyway off of East Cleveland Avenue.
