TRAFFIC ALERT – Route 72 Bridge Ongoing Closure

The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced that the bridge on Route 72, Library Avenue, over the Amtrak rail lines will close beginning Thursday, June 11, for bridge repairs.

The closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately eight weeks. A detour will be posted.

Business and residential access will remain open throughout the detour. Only the bridge and the approach roadways immediately adjacent to the bridge will be closed.
