The pedestrian who died in this incident has been identified as Jeanette Johnson, 89, of North East, MD.
The Newark Police Traffic Response Unit is investigating this crash, and this is an ongoing investigation. Charges related to the incident are under review by Newark Police investigators and the Delaware Attorney General’s Office.
