On March 28, at about 2358 hours, Newark Police responded to a crash in the area of Madison Drive, involving several parked vehicles. Responding officers found that four unoccupied parked vehicles, around the 100 block of Madison Drive, had been struck by passing vehicle.
It was determined that the driver of the striking vehicle was Dwendolyn Creecy, 54, of Newark, who was on scene.
Evidence was gathered indicating that Creecy was impaired at the time of the crash. Creecy was arrested for DUI and was transported to Newark Police Headquarters. The striking vehicle had been disabled and was towed from the scene.

Creecy was issued all necessary paperwork for upcoming court appearances, was transported back to her residence, where she was released.
