Update: Newark Police Investigation on Elkton Rd

The Newark Police Department assisted in searching the area of Elkton Rd and Casho Mill Rd for two subjects that fled from an Elkton PD vehicle pursuit.  After an extensive search of the area, the subjects were unable to be located and it is believed they are no longer in the area.  Out of an abundance of caution, nearby daycare facilities were asked to lockdown until the area was deemed safe.  At this time, there is no information that would lead Newark PD to believe the community is in any danger.  For further information regarding this investigation contact Elkton PD.
