Traffic Alert – Closure of New London Road & West Main Street

Due to work on the CSX railroad tracks, both New London Road and West Main Street will be CLOSED at the CSX railroad crossing. Vehicular access will be permitted to driveways on each side of the railroad tracks.  The full vehicular detour route can be found here.

This will be a full closure (24 hours/day) beginning Monday March 11 at 5:00 am until Friday March 15 at 10:00 pm.  The closure schedule is subject to change based upon weather.

Pedestrians WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE RAILROAD TRACKS.  Pedestrians must cross the tracks at a marked crossing (North College Avenue) or at the Rodney Underpass.

Trains will continue to run during this closure.  As a reminder, both City and State law prohibit crossing railroad tracks at any location other than at a marked crossing.
