New Castle Man Charged Following Drug Investigation

During the month of September, 2023, the Newark Police Department Street Crimes Unit investigated the illegal distribution of drugs in Newark.  During the course of the investigation, drug purchases were made from Patrick Lamb, 42, of New Castle.

Following multiple purchases, a search warrant was executed at Lamb’s New Castle residence and evidence was seized.

Following the search, Lamb was taken into custody without incident and transported to Newark Police headquarters where he was charged with:

• Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
• Possession of Drugs Without a Prescription (4 counts)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lamb appeared before Justice of the Peace Court #2 by video and was ordered to be held in default of $6,500 secured bail. Lamb was turned over to the custody of the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington.
