Traffic Alert – University of Delaware Graduation

University of Delaware graduation ceremonies on both Friday 5/26 and Saturday 5/27 will cause significant increased traffic around the City of Newark, especially in the area of the UD field house and football stadium.

On Friday 5/26, ceremonies will occur all day at the field house and stadium, causing increased traffic and delays.

On Saturday 5/27, there will be significant traffic around the stadium starting as early as 6:00 am and lasting into the early afternoon. Delays may impact Interstate 95.

Avoid the area unless travel is necessary.
