In 2022, the Newark Police Department contracted with Epic Productions, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona to assist with police officer recruitment.
Epic Productions has created a marketing campaign, professional videos and a recruiting-specific website to enhance police officer recruitment by Newark PD. In addition, in the coming months, they will create social media content, conduct search engine optimization, social media advertising and analyzation of data to increase recruitment efforts.
The new recruiting website, joinnewarkpd.com, is now live. Some of the initial videos that were created can be found on the site. The videos were designed to highlight the various special units within the Department, showcase the men and women who make-up the Department, demonstrate how Newark PD holds itself to high standards and exhibit some of the ways Newark PD engages with the community.
In the coming weeks and months, you can find information about our recruiting efforts on our new dedicated social media recruiting pages linked on joinnewarkpd.com.
