Newark Police Detectives are investigating two burglaries at the same residence occurring over the weekend.
On Saturday December 15th, at about 2025 hours, a resident of an apartment in the unit block of Choate Street heard the front door to his apartment open. The resident went towards the sound and observed the suspect in his residence. The suspect made a statement to the victim and fled when the victim went to call the police.
