Update #1 – Suspect Identified – Bank Robbery on South College Avenue
The suspect in the bank robbery at 622 South College Avenue on December 21, 2018, has been identified as Antwine Banks, 36, whose last known address was in Perryville, MD.
Following the original press release, Newark Police received multiple tips as to the identity of the suspect. On December 23, 2018, Detectives obtained a warrant charging Banks with Robbery in the First Degree.
Banks is believed to be traveling in a blue Nissan Altima, MD 7CV6457. He is known to have contacts in Perryville, MD, Bensalem, PA and Camden, NJ.
