Traffic Alert – Christina Parkway Closed
Eastbound Christina Parkway is closed between Elkton Road and South College Avenue due to a roll over collision with injuries. Westbound Christina Parkway has one lane getting by. The roadway is expected to be closed for approximately one hour. 
Distraction Theft at ACME
On December 8, 2018, at about 1401 hours, a female subject approached a shopper at the ACME located at 100 Suburban Plaza, Newark. The female engaged the victim in conversation, while a male subject stood behind them. A short time later, the male suspect removed the victim’s purse and wallet from the victim’s shopping cart and exited the store. The female suspect exited the store a short time later. They entered a silver sedan and fled the area.
The suspects are a white female in a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt and a white male with a white beard.
The suspects have committed similar crimes in New Castle County.
