The Newark Police Department is currently seeking the whereabouts of Galaye DIENG, a 25-year-old black male. DIENG is described as approximately 6’00”, 170 lbs. with brown eyes and closely cut black hair. DIENG’s last known whereabouts were in the City of Newark and his current whereabouts are unknown.
In March 2026, Newark Police Detectives began an investigation involving DIENG as the suspect. Following an extensive investigation, a warrant was obtained by Detective Master Corporal William Anderson charging DIENG with Rape 3rd degree – Victim is Less Than 16 years and the Defendant is More Than 10 Years Older or Victim Less Than 14 Years and the Defendant is Over 19 Years-Old, a class B Felony.
