Based on surveillance video and other investigative means, Newark Police Detectives identified the suspect in this incident as Bradley Moats, 34, of Newark.
On April 19, 2023, detectives executed a search warrant at Moats’ Newark residence. He was taken into custody without incident.
Moats was transported to Newark Police headquarters where he was charged with:
- Burglary First Degree
- Theft Under $1500
- Criminal Mischief
Moats appeared before Justice of the Peace Court #2 by video and was ordered to be held in default of $11,100 cash bail. Moats was turned over to the custody of the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington.
