UPDATE – Arrest – Early Morning Crash Injures Four – Two Critical

Two of the passengers from the vehicle remain in an area hospital in critical condition.

On August 11, 2021, the driver of the vehicle involved, Chase Lynch, 24, of Newark, turned himself in to Newark Police to face charges in this crash.

Lynch was charged with the following offenses:

• Assault First Degree (3 counts)
• Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
• Speeding
• Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign

Lynch appeared before Justice of the Peace Court #2 by video and was released on $60,650 unsecured bail.
